PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
LIKAM® is a water solution containing 24% of ammonia (NH3), which is a transparent liquid with distinct, characteristic odour. It is produced by absorption of ammonia in demineralised water.
Ammonia solution is a non-flammable substance but fire and explosion hazard is created by ammonia vapours released from it.
APPLICATION:
power - for reducing flue gas emissions to the atmosphere,
tanning industry - for production of gelatine,
agriculture - as nitrogen fertiliser,
rubber industry,
colour industry,
organic industry,
glass industry,
as a pH regulator.
NOTE
LIKAM® (ammonia in water solution) is a dangerous material according to RID/ADR classified under item UN 2672. Transport of ammonia solution takes place according to principles specified in RID/ADR. Ammonia solution transport is subject to provisions regarding transport of dangerous materials. Ammonia solution load should be marked according to the provisions regarding transport of dangerous materials.
